Simon has developed an international reputation for the design of five star hotels and other top-end projects in the hospitality sector. Passion for design and a commitment to getting things done have been the hallmarks of a career that has now stretched over twenty-five years. Design is just one half of the process and Simon’s expertise extends to implementation and management. Such in-depth experience means that he is superbly placed to undertake projects from around the world and ensure their success.
After a stint as the managing director of LRF Designers’ associate office in London, Simon now acts for LRF Hong Kong. Testimony to this long-standing successful relationship are many of the projects featured on this website.
Simon has worked in Britain, Europe, the Middle East and Asia, with particular experience in China. This international breadth is matched by a responsive, personal service and a commitment to quality and execution, an ethos and skill set borne out of his years working with the hospitality sector.
His expertise has been recognized by Beijing Tsinghua University, where he is a speaker for the Design Faculty, encouraging the next generation of designers to develop their own styles, helping them achieve something distinctive, innovative and original.
Although the design industry relies ever more on digital methods, Simon remains a staunch advocate of freehand drawing to develop his ideas and portray his vision, convinced that this increasingly rare creative style pays rich dividends. His many clients agree.
